Mantis, Ostrich and Fire. Children’s Book Illustrations
Illustrations for the African folklore 'Mantis, Ostrich and Fire' that is being adapted to a children's book. African folk art and cave paintings inspired the use of stylised geometric shapes which created a unique and effective style to communicate the story. Earthy bright colours, custom typefaces and textured elements all add to an African inspired look and feel, while also looking appealing to children.
