Awesome new bar in Durban, South Africa. Had an awesome time designing this experimental logo, that was inspired by Berlin’s street art and multi media visuals. Great to get my hands dirty making graphics with real ink and charcoal on this one.

Berlin Bar Mural 🍻🖋
After designing their logo I cheekily joked “you’re gona need a mural now, I know a guy” and to my surprise they took the bait !! Next thing I knew I was running around this massive bar in Durbs like a mad man trying to cover walls with some pretty pictures. I must have looked like a mad man with spray paint cans, markers, charcoal, chalk, paint brush and paint rollers all clutched in my hands making marks all around the bar🖋
Giving the bar its own personality was a goal of mine. The bar features mini murals that read "Call her" or "Dam! you're cute", I did this to make it seem as if the bar had multiple personalities and was speaking to you the viewer.Â
